Granite price guide for the UAE

We do not publish prices. The price of granite in the UAE depends on the exact material, grade, thickness and format, on how much you need, and on cutting and transport. This guide explains each cost driver so you can request a quotation that is quick to price and easy to compare.

Why there is no "from AED" price

A "from" price usually describes the cheapest material in the simplest format, before cutting, delivery and VAT. It rarely matches what a real job costs, and stone prices change with stock and supply. Rather than publish a figure that would not describe your job, we price each enquiry and set everything out in a written quotation.

If cost is your first priority, say so in your request. Searching for cheap granite in the UAE is reasonable; we can suggest lower-cost materials, grades or formats from our catalogue for your use, and explain what changes if you choose them, such as thickness or slab size.

What affects the price of granite

These are the factors that move a granite quotation up or down. The same factors apply to our marble and porcelain.

Thickness and format interact with the use: our guides on 2 cm vs 3 cm granite and cutter vs gangsaw slabs explain the choices.

How granite is sold: units on a quotation

Granite is not always sold per square metre, and the same material can be quoted in different units depending on the format. A granite slab price in the UAE, for example, may be given per slab or per square metre. Each quotation states the unit for every line.

To compare a per-slab price with a per-square-metre price, ask for the slab dimensions and divide the slab price by the slab area. Remember that the area you can use is smaller than the slab area once your pieces are cut.

      • Per square metre (m²) – a price for an area of stone
      • Per slab – a price for a whole cutter or gangsaw slab; the slab dimensions decide how many square metres you get
      • Per piece – a price for individual items, such as cut pieces
      • Per linear metre – a price by length, used for steps and similar items

How to get a fast, accurate quotation

The more of this you send with your first message, the fewer questions we need to ask. Our quote checklist has the full list, and the quote request form prompts for each item:

      • Material names or catalogue references (your saved selection can be sent in one step)
      • Format: slabs, tiles, steps or cut-to-size pieces
      • Thickness and finish
      • Dimensions of each piece, or an area or count with its unit (m², slabs, pieces or linear metres)
      • Whether your quantities include wastage
      • Where the stone will be used (floor, stairs, counter, wall)
      • Grade preference, or "quote me options"
      • Collection from our yard, or the delivery location with access and unloading details
      • When you need it
      • Drawings, a BOQ or photos of the space

How to compare granite quotes fairly

Two quotes for "black granite" can describe very different products. Before you compare totals, check that each quote covers the same:

      • Material – trade names vary between suppliers, so compare photographs of the actual stone
      • Grade and, where stated, origin
      • Thickness and format, including slab size
      • Unit of sale and quantity, including wastage
      • Finish and any cutting
      • VAT – whether each price includes or excludes it
      • Delivery, unloading or collection
      • How long the price is valid
      • Whether you can inspect the actual slabs before supply
      • Payment terms

      Common questions

How much does granite cost per square metre in the UAE?

It depends on the material, grade, thickness, format, quantity and any cutting or delivery. We do not publish a figure because it would not describe your job; send your details and we will quote in writing.

Why don't you publish prices online?

Stone prices change with stock and supply, and the cost of a job depends on factors a single figure cannot show. Every quotation states the price, unit, VAT and validity.

Is granite cheaper per slab or per square metre?

Neither unit is cheaper in itself. Convert a per-slab price using the slab area, then allow for the wastage your layout creates.

      Do your prices include VAT?

UAE VAT applies as stated on each quotation. Check whether a price includes or excludes VAT before you compare quotes.

      Do you have cheap granite?

Tell us your budget and how the stone will be used. We will suggest lower-cost materials, grades or formats from our catalogue and explain what changes.

Is delivery included in the price?

Delivery or collection is set out on each quotation. You can collect from our yard in Sajja, Sharjah; delivery is quoted per order.
