Four granites are listed as ready steps, 30 mm thick. Other granites can be considered for stairs from cutter slabs — tell us your tread depth, riser height, number of steps and edge detail.

What to measure
For each flight, measure the tread depth (front to back), the step width, the riser height and the number of steps, plus any landings. Note whether the step ends are visible and what nosing or edge detail you want.
Slip and finish
Polished stairs can be slippery, especially outdoors or where they may get wet. Discuss anti-slip measures and finish with your designer or contractor — we do not publish slip ratings for these materials. See stair treads.
Risers and landings
Our arrival records include risers, landings and skirting cut from the same materials. Ask for matching pieces in your quotation so the whole staircase comes from compatible stock.

Which granites are available as steps?
Black Galaxy, Colonial Gold, Colonial White and Viscon White are listed as steps, 30 mm. Other materials can be quoted from slabs — ask us.
Do you supply risers and landings too?
Our past arrivals include risers, landings and skirting. Include them in your request and we will confirm what can be supplied.
