Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to browse our catalogue, request a quotation and contact us. This statement explains what we have done and how to tell us about a problem.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, in both English and Arabic.
Conformance status
This website has been designed and tested against WCAG 2.2 level AA. If you find anything that is hard to use, please tell us and we will fix it.
What we have done
The website has been built with these measures:
- Keyboard – navigation, forms and interactive features are designed to work with a keyboard alone
- Visible focus – a clear focus indicator shows where you are on the page
- Labels and errors – form fields have visible labels, and errors are described in text next to the field and in a summary
- Contrast – text and controls are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios
- Reduced motion – animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion
- Arabic – Arabic pages use a right-to-left layout and an Arabic typeface
- Zoom and reflow – pages reflow to a single column on small screens and when zoomed, without horizontal scrolling
Known limitations
We know about these issues and are working through them:
- Stone photographs – most images show stone surfaces. They are described by material name rather than in visual detail.
- Older arrival photographs – some photographs in our arrival records have generic descriptions.
- Videos – our videos are hosted on YouTube. Videos with no speech have no captions.
- Third-party services – the map search and YouTube are provided by other companies, and we cannot control their accessibility.
